Why choose MZ LED lights?
Quality
We use Japanese SMD LED lights with Extended CRI95 or Standard CRI 97.

Durability
We have used Aluminum material for the best possible cooling of both LED board and Dimmer. Heatsinks are attached to the aluminum bodies and heat is transfered to the enviroment in the best possible way. That's why you can use our LED lights In warmer places with same efficiency. Aluminum material offers extra durability. You can use your MZ LED lights in harsh enviroments.

Powerful and Portable
MZ  are very powerful but portable LED lights. Half size and half weight than LED Panels but very powerful with low power consumption. You can fit up to Five MZ LED Lights in a single Bag.

Different light beams
ΜΖ LED lights have a 115-degree light beam for wide angle lighting and uniformity. In that way you can use your light closer to your subject.

MZ-Lighting produce two high-quality optional lenses for our LED lights. One lens is 60 degrees and the second one is 40 degrees. These lenses are detachable! So you can use three different light beams with your MZ LED lights: 115, 60 or 40 degrees. When you use the 60-degree lens the intensity of the lighting is doubled and when you use the 40-degree lens the intensity is trippled in longer distances.

Silent use
We don't use fans for cooling our LED lights. So there are no sound interferences when you use your MZ LED lights. In that way you can use them In TV Studios with Sound recordings and wireless Microphones.

Ideal for Studios
With DMX Controller you can Control your MZ LED lights remotely up to 150m away. DMX address of each LED light is set from the DMX menu of the Dimmer. This is an ideal solution for Studios and theaters. For Cost effective solutions, when you use the Standard Dimmer, you can control your MZ LED lights up to 30m away by using cable extention. No extra equipment is required.

Dimmer is separated from the Light body
When you use LED lights on high tripods, you usually want to control them easily without changing their position. In LED Panels of other Manufacturers where the Dimmer is integrated in the Light body, this is not possible. With the MZ LED lights, you can put the Dimmer on the tripod with a Clamp and control your light remotely without changing its position.

Accessories
You can Adapt Softboxes, Barndoors, Umbrellas or filters on your MZ LED lights. MZ manufactures Softboxes with or without Grid 60x60cm, 90x90cm, 23x90cm and 30x120cm. Softboxes reduce contrast, conceal skin blemishes, and soften the edges of the shadows. Softboxes with Grids are able to focus the light on their targets and eliminate any spilling light on the background.

AC or Battery operated
The advantage of our LED lights is that you can use AC power or  different kind of Batteries using the external MZ battery adapters. These adapters can be adapted on Tripods with clamps which gives you extra stability to your light stands. On the other hand, LED panels usually have the Battery adapters integrated on the light body which adds extra weight on the top of the tripod and leads to instability.

MZ-NPF-Single  adapter for one Sony NPF type battery. This adapter can be used only for the MZ-LED176 lights with Boost disabled. It is equipped with Tripod Clamp and XLR 4-pin Female Connector.

MZ-NPF-Dual adapter for two Sony NPF type batteries. This adapter is equipped with Tripod Clamp and XLR 4-pin Female Connector. It can be used for both MZ-LED336 and MZ-LED176 LED lights.

MZ-Vlock adapter for one Sony Vlock type Battery. This adapter is equipped with Tripod Clamp, D-Tap output and XLR 4-pin Female Connector. It can be used for both MZ-LED336 and MZ-LED176 LED lights.

MZ-Vlock-Dual-14.8V adapter for two Sony Vlock type Batteries. This adapter is equipped with D-Tap output and XLR 4-pin Female Connector. The output is DC 14.8V. It can be used for both MZ-LED336 and MZ-LED176 LED lights for long lasting shootings.

MZ-Vlock-Dual-29.6V adapter for two Sony Vlock type Batteries. This adapter is equipped with D-Tap output and XLR 4-pin Female Connector. The output is DC 29.6V. It can be used only for the MZ-LED884 LED lights.

MZ-Glock-Dual-14.8V adapter for two Panasonic Glock type Batteries. This adapter is equipped with D-Tap output and XLR 4-pin Female Connector. The output is DC 14.8V. It can be used for both MZ-LED336 and MZ-LED176 LED lights for long lasting shootings.

MZ-Glock-Dual-29.6V adapter for two Panasonic Glock type Batteries. This adapter is equipped with D-Tap output and XLR 4-pin Female Connector. The output is DC 29.6V. It can be used only for the MZ-LED884 LED lights.
Why the Dimmer is not integrated in the light body?
Dimmer is not integrated in the light body for the following reasons:

1. We wanted to produce portable and powerful LED lights in order to be able to fit three or four pieces in a single bag. LED panels of other manufacturers are big and heavy because the dimmer and the power supplier are usually integrated in the light body. In that way we have produced more powerful but smaller and portable LED lights.

2. The Dimmer, the LED board and the power supplier emit a lot of heat. So, in LED Panels, where they are all  integrated in the light body the heat is increased a lot, which results to reduce of product life . MZ-Lighting separated the Dimmer and the LED Board and integrate them in high quality aluminum bodies with aluminum heatsinks for better cooling and longer product lifespan. Better cooling lets you also use your MZ LED Lights in warmer places with same efficiency.

3. When you use LED lights on high tripods, you usually want to control them easily without changing their position. In LED Panels of other Manufacturers where the Dimmer is integrated in the Light body, this is not possible. With the MZ LED lights, you can put the Dimmer on the tripod with a Clamp and control your light remotely without changing its position. 

4. When you have a studio and you want to control your MZ LED lights with a cheap and easy way, you can extend the cable between the LED body and the Dimmer and control your MZ LED lights remotely. You can use up to 30m cables by using the 120Watt MZ power supplier.
Why MZ LED Lights use SMD LEDs without lenses with 115degrees light beam?
MZ LED Lights use high quality Japanese SMD LEDs with CRI 97 or extended CRI 95. We use SMD LEDs with a 115-degree light beam without lenses for the following reasons:

1. LED lights with 115-degree light beam can be used for wide angle lighting. In that way you can use your light closer to your subject.

2. Usually other LED panel manufacturers use low cost lenses for their led lights in order to have a 60-degree light beam and make the light more powerful in longer distances. These low cost lenses usually produce bad quality lighting with low CRI ratings and no uniformity. On the other hand, when you use SMD LEDs without lenses you get the most from your LEDs for high CRI Ratings and better uniformity of your lighting.

3. MZ-Lighting produce two high-quality optional lenses for our LED lights. One lens is 60 degrees and the second one is 40 degrees. These lenses are detachable! So you can use three different light beams with your MZ LED lights: 115, 60 or 40 degrees. What is the difference between Round shape MZ LED lights and square shape LED panels?
There is no actual Difference between Round shape LED Lights and LED Panels. Usually users believe that Round shape LED lights have narrow light beam (spot light) in comparison to the LED Panels, but this is not always the case. Light beam angle depends on the LEDs that you will use and not from the shape of the Light body. We use Japanese SMD LEDs with a wide light beam of 115 degrees. Usually LED Panels use LEDs with lenses and the light beam is very narrow (spot light), 60 or even 45 degrees, in order to make the light stronger in long distances.

Why do you use Aluminum material?
MZ LED Board and Dimmer are integrated in separate Aluminum bodies with aluminum Heatsinks. We have used Aluminum material for the best possible cooling of both LED board and Dimmer. Heatsinks are attached to the aluminum bodies and heat is transfered to the enviroment in the best possible way. That's why you can use our LED lights In warmer places with same efficiency.

We don't use fans for cooling our LED lights. So there are no sound interferences when you use your MZ LED lights. In that way you can use them In TV Studios with Sound recordings and wireless Microphones.

Another reason for using Aluminum material is for durability. You can use your MZ LED lights in harsh enviroments.

Are the MZ LED lights Battery operated?
The MZ LED Lights are battery operated. They have an XLR 4-pin Male DC input 7-17V.

BATTERY OPERATED
The advantage of our LED lights is that you can use different kind of Batteries using the external MZ battery adapters. These adapters can be adapted on Tripods with clamps which gives you extra stability to your light stands. On the other hand, LED panels usually have the Battery adapters integrated on the light body which adds extra weight on the top of the tripod and leads to instability. 
 
MZ-NPF-Single  adapter for one Sony NPF type battery. This adapter can be used only for the MZ-LED176 lights with Boost disabled. It is equipped with Tripod Clamp and XLR 4-pin Female Connector.

MZ-PSU-100W  AC input,  15V/6.6A DC output. It can be used for both MZ-LED336 and MZ-LED176 LED Lights.
MZ-PSU-120W  AC input,  15V/8A DC output. It can be used for both MZ-LED336 and MZ-LED176 LED Lights.
MZ-PSU-240W   AC input,  30V/8A DC output. It can be used only for the MZ-LED884 LED Lights.
What is the difference between CRI and Extended CRI?
Extended CRI light measurement uses 15 color samples for more accurate results. Standard CRI uses only 8 color samples. MZ LED Lights feature Extended CRI95 or Standard CRI97.
What if i have a faulty product in the warranty period?
If you have a faulty product in the warranty period you have to contact with your local dealer or the official distributor of MZ-Lighting products in your Country. If there is no evidence for bad use they will exchange it with a new product or they will repair it free of charge.
